Memberium “X” is a new version of Memberium designed to connect WordPress membership sites to HighLevel (and eventually other CRMs). It’s built from the ground up using 10+ years of lessons learned from serving membership site owners with Memberium.

While there’s no specific release date yet, Q4 2025 is our best estimate. The beta program will launch before the public release, allowing early adopters to test the system.

Memberium “X” introduces a more efficient architecture with local tags that you create within WordPress, which can then be mapped to remote tags in your CRM.

This approach means you don’t need to push every membership tracking element to your CRM, reducing API bloat and improving performance.

It has been built from the ground up so at launch it won’t have the same depth of features so your feedback is important to shaping what gets added first.

Local tags are created and stored within your WordPress site. You can use them to track member journeys and progress without necessarily syncing them to your CRM.

This reduces API calls, prevents CRM bloat, and improves site performance. You can map local tags to remote CRM tags when needed to allow your CRM automation to apply tags (and membership levels) and grant access.

Local tags are especially useful because it decouples the membership functions from the CRM so that in the future you would be able to switch CRMs or not use a CRM at all if needed.

Initially, Memberium “X” will focus on core functionality: contacts, tags, and membership management. Some advanced features from the Keap version (like e-commerce, affiliates, and credit card updates) won’t be available at launch but we’re looking at everything HighLevel offers.

Eventually, all Memberium versions will be unified into Memberium “X” with different CRM connectors. For now, they remain separate codebases. Migration paths will be clarified as the product matures.

Currently there are working integrations for…

• LearnDash (primary focus – most users request this)
• Elementor (built-in visibility controls for containers and elements)
• WooCommerce (automate granting and revoking access)

Yes, Group Accounts (formerly Umbrella Accounts) is a top priority feature.

Memberium “X” works with WordPress sites that connect to HighLevel as the CRM. It’s not designed for HighLevel’s built-in sites feature.

Not at initial launch but in the future it’s something we plan to offer to make it easy to get started with Memberium.

Support for snapshots and multi-account deployments is being considered, particularly for agencies managing multiple client sites. We understand this is important for the HighLevel agency model.

The team is investigating support for custom values (HighLevel’s system-wide variables similar to merge fields but at the sub-account level). This is particularly relevant for agencies managing multiple sub-accounts.

Yes, this is one of the exciting use cases. Since HighLevel’s native client portal isn’t very customizable, you can use Memberium “X” with WordPress to create customized client portals. We’re investigating more support for features like document handling and billing management – these won’t be present at launch.
